The doctor who was once the patient

For years I battled IBS, chronic pain, and unexplained symptoms that left me exhausted and dismissed. The turning point came when I realised my body wasn’t only asking for medical answers — it was begging to be heard. When I finally faced the emotional wounds beneath the symptoms — childhood trauma, toxic relationships, the cost of always being “the strong one” — my healing began.

Now I walk that path with other women, as both the physician and someone who has lived it.
